It *must* be "wireless modular synthesizer". I've used that for years, it's embossed in all ideas about it

Then we trade clarity for comfort!

no - we trade a tiny bit of clarity for lots of consistency

But at least here in the states, 'wireless' has a completely different meaning. Patchcord, on the other hand, has a precise meaning to anyone who understands the fundamentals of modular synthesis.

True... but somehow I actually like our new definition of 'wireless'!

Just to weigh in here...

I agree that when I first heard "wireless modular synthesizer", it was worded differently than I expected, but now I feel it's cool because of that reason. It's unique.

Thanks for this Howard :) Now if I can beat my A D D I'll read it from top to bottom...twice! :D Zebra is one I want to master this year. Thanks again for your work on this.

Hi Howard,
I don't think this has been mentioned (p29):

"GeoBlend & SpectroBlend
Although there are four oscillator modes, only two editing methods are required. The following describes how to edit waveforms in the two **'Morph'** modes:"

Thanks for taking on this project. A lot of things which I had
only a vague idea about are made much more clear.
Back to reading!
:D
Cheers,
Scott

pg 32: I'd suggest a hyperlink under the phrase "lower pane" pointing back to the Lower Bar and Lower Pane section (pg 18). Or maybe put a picture of the lower panel view selection bar with the FMO button highlighted. I jumped into section with just a quick glance at the front matter and had a difficult time finding the controls. My fault really for not reading carefully, I tend to look at the pictures first, give things a go, then go back and re-read if I haven't grasped the principles.

Version 2 is now available in the first post of this thread 8)

Found a big error already: The second paragraph on page 9 should read:

"Click on the [EQ1] in the grid, and drag it upwards: It will swap places with [Rev1] - the reverb effect will not be equalized now, just the pre-reverb dry signal. Experiment with all the settings in those effects panels. To edit the 'other' effect, click on its [cell] in the grid!"

Wow, you guys run fast!

Just noticed the thread, downloading and reading in the next days :)

Thanks a lot, I'm really glad Z2.5 gets a proper updated guide!

Version 2b up, includes custom "initialize" and tables of mod targets.

Reading 2b quick tutorial, two things aren't right imo (beside what already mentioned about beta 2):

- Effect grid in attached preset is not empty, so cannot add directly Rev1 on top slot
- Sustain is already at minimum in Env2

Well spotted Mario - I'll fix those!
