i did prefer the old new threads list as it showed more threads.. the current list could easily reflect the last two minutes of forum activiy in peak hours.
you come and go, you come and go. amitabha neither a follower nor a leader be tagore "where roads are made i lose my way" where there is certainty, consideration is absent.

i've had to change the resolution from 1280 to 1152, so i can see the the kvrmarker. i use kvrmarks to navigate the forums quickly. the content section is now narrower, but i can now see the ads
. this is going to take some getting used to......oooh, a sale

I hate it. Straight to http://www.kvraudio.com/lt.php?mode=mylt for me just so I can see the forum posts, which means that I now ignore everything on the right side -- which itself means I don't see the ads and news.

+1... it's way too BIG. And the "thought-bubbles" are un-neccessarily HUGE.xoxos wrote:i did prefer the old new threads list as it showed more threads.. the current list could easily reflect the last two minutes of forum activiy in peak hours.
I lothe scrolling!
I do like the new "Quick Plug-in Search" though. It IS 'quick' and the piccies are a nice touch.

I know every time there's a site change we get a chorus of boos, and this time I'm one of them. On the main page I want to see forum posts, period. I don't want to have to click anything to see the most recent posts. The bottom of the posts is cut off by ads, which should be fixed, IMO.
Making the whole front page into 5 columns would have been better, rather than just the sidebar.

If every KVR member wrote one review a year we'd have 1340 reviews each day!

+1 here. The old sidebar was MUCH better. We need to see latest forum posts on the main page, even when not logged in! Why is it so big and cartoony now? This is silly..

i don't mean to say that i like this. it was perfect before, and now it's annoying. however, i am excited that i now have a reason to spend less time here. i might actually get something doneandroidlove wrote:i've had to change the resolution from 1280 to 1152, so i can see the the kvrmarker. i use kvrmarks to navigate the forums quickly. the content section is now narrower, but i can now see the ads. this is going to take some getting used to......oooh, a sale

can we blame steve jobs for this? the right and left sides are like night and day. either someone has no sense of coordination, or the left side is about to get cartoony as wellbmanic wrote:Why is it so big and cartoony now?

Yeah, the new sidebar and stupid cartoon graphics really suck. And, no I won't grow to like it. Cases in point - I didn't grow to like the new Cakewalk forum and I sure as hell won't go near Harmony Central again. Why do people have to keep screwing with things that aren't broke?

What's even more pathetic is that there's absolutely no response from any of the official KvR people. Too scared to defend their "design", or just don't care ?
