I don't like the new sidebar either. Tabs are fine in some cases, but this is not one of them. Old version was better.

The quick instrument search box is nice, but I'd rather have quick forum search

Just saw the left side icons for forum posts have gone - much better, even though smaller icons could have stayed.

Now that the silly bubbles are gone please also remove that annoying gradient background. It makes everything so much harder to read. While those shiny blocks may appear "sexy" at a first glance, it's just really hard on the eyes when you look at the whole list for longer than a second. If I want useless shiny blocks I can get an iPhock myself

After that detach the "Forum Posts" from that "What's New @ KVR Audio" block entirely, so you spot them right away when you get on the homepage.

EDIT: Ha! Nice... it was changed while I was typing - but still the cut-off entries.

It looks WAY better now... "cut-off" is gone too.

+1. Loads of screen real estate is wasted, could put the ads nearer the bottom. The font at the top looks odd as well or is that just me? Do i need some 3d glasses to enjoy it?

Excellent! The stupid talk bubbles are gone!! Now just return the Latest Posts thing to what it was before.. without the stupid graphics and tabs. Why change something that was perfect?

Just my $0.02.... I really like the look of the new interface It has a nice clean look. However, like others have said:

1. I would prefer the new interface show more items in the list (like forum messages).

2. I would rather the list not rotate (I understand that there is a setting for this, but it isn't yet working correctly).

3. I understand that currently this new setup is not universal to every page. Once it is working correctly, it needs to be consistant regardless of the page you are on.

Again, I really like the clean look of the new graphics, but the above things would really enhance the usability.

Plus, right-click doesn't work in IE8. I always right-click to open interesting posts in separate tabs, now I can't.

Oooh, I do the same. I didn't know the right-click for opening in separate tabs was gone. I use that all the time.
