Sounds promising! Thanks for looking into it!

Crossing my fingers that the lines are gone, but don't worry.... I'll bug you again if they aren't.. ;)

I will patiently await the next release. No worries if it's not today..

I've never played with a demo as much as I have been with Zebra.

The bottom bit of the GUI (Zebra2.5 beta, Zebralette) is missing under Cubase LE5 / Snow Leopard.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only person seeing this. The weird thing is that I ONLY see the white lines when I use Zebra2 (through 2.5.2) within Live 8.2.x. (Windows XP SP3).

It happens when I move the Zebra gui partly off the screen, then back on. Thin white lines are drawn as the gui is moved back into the main screen.
Clicking Synthesis or Patches clears them. Skin or size settings don't matter.

Besides this I find Zebra2 very stable, and since its sound is becoming essential to my productions I can forgive this little quirk -- for all I know, it's an Ableton thing since I don't see the problem with Cantabile or Sonar.

Would love to see it fixed if it were easy to do though...

I need to rewrite/improve large portions of the gui framework for this. So we're adding a new "homegrown" bitmap format, we're looking into smoother font rendering and we're checking out options to scale in steps of 10% instead of 1:2, 2:5 etc.

Thanks for your response, Urs. Zebra sounds so great I would probably use it if it had a Windows 3.11 style interface. I'l be thrilled if you're able to get around to sprucing it up.

Please, please don't drop support for WinXP though. That would give me a sad.

Cheers,

Tim S.
