Odd, as per my previous post.Sequent wrote:I wish Loomer had been as generous when they lifted my screen name! Congratulations, Breeze! How does it feel to have a plugin with your namesake?
I really don't have any issues with it as I don't refer to myself in the 3rd person as a rule.

ok, I'm back for more after 5 hours of sleep. (at least it's something..)Demo is broken, like the first morning. Link is broken, like the first day.
Broken? details please? where/what/how? I'm happy to fix it if something is not working correctly.
I am also now working on a proper 2CAudio home page and product page, so navigation is easier now that we have more than just Aether to show... (so yes, I know this is confusing at the moment since the nav bar at the top does not work... I am on it now.)

Just wait until we start our "right tool for the right job campaign"... Thanks, but then, couldn't there be people writing them directly claiming to be me? I figured the PM would serve as a confirmation.standalone wrote:Better a mail:

Hm, my understanding is that once you start referring to yourself in the third person is when you know you've made it. Oh, and you have to say "we" a lot when you're responding to questions, etc. As in "we decided to" such and such rather than "I decided". NEVER use the first person singular. That's apparently a big thing.
Okay, back to the thread...

Peevy2000, It doesn't matter how much you spend, or what reverb you purchase, but if you like the sound of Eos, then nothing will replace it. Eos has a distinct character to it, whereas the 2CAudio (Aether and Breeze) has the ability of sounding (IMO) more "natural" (keeping in mind that Aether has a number of options for coloring while Breeze has enough), still neither (IMO) overlaps Eos (or vice versa) in any way besides being called reverbs.Peevy2000 wrote:I think I just might have found the reverb I've been looking for![]()
I've tried a few of the top Reverbs (for my very low budget) like Redline, AAR & RP-Verb (RP-Verb totally chewed up my CPU unless I put my buffer size up to 1024 samples) & while they're all very good I was really looking for a Reverb that matched or was better than my favourite verb which is Audio Damage's EOS.
EOS is my favourite for a number of reasons. Firstly the sound quality it has for $49 is brilliant & the UI is so simple & easy to work with a child could get a decent sound out of this Reverb no problem. Actually the user friendly UI is my main reason for loving EOS so mutch but at times I was finding myself wanting a few more parameters to tweak to further sculpt my sound & a 64-bit Reverb would be nice to have too. So the hunt began.
While the reverbs mentioned above definitely sound better than EOS I still wasn't comfortable with the UI of any of them & was just about to give up hope until Breeze came along. Breeze is a delight to work with, the GUIs very nice with the UI offering just that little bit more tweak-ability I was looking for & to my ears it also shines in that all important department, the sound. Does it sound better than EOS? I'm still not 100% sure yet but in some ways it does because of the extra tweak-ability but I won't be throwing EOS away anytime soon because of those times you just want something really simple to work with, plus you can get some really massive sounds out of it & its extremely light on the CPU. As for the CPU where Breeze is concerned, I found it to be pretty easy on the CPU & only adding about an average of 8% load on the CPU, so no complaints there.
I know I've said it before but I'll say it again, I really love Breezes GUI. Its just so easy to work with & the preset browser is a delight to sift through too.
I'll definitely be snapping this up at the introductory price of $99.95
but I do have a suggestion or even a request to Galbanum. Since this seems to be a Reverb geared toward Laptop home studio or live use, why not keep the price at $99.95. I'd say it'd definitely sell a lot more & speaking as a home studio hobbyist myself (for now) I always think twice about buying a plugin when its nearing the $150 or above mark. I think $99.95 is a nice in between price. I'm Sorry if I seem rude telling you how to price your productsbut I do really like Breeze & would like a lot more people to have the chance to use it.
Breeze easily fills a gap that I had hoped to fill after picking up Aether. I bought CSR among several others (including Eos) and was always disappointed, because nothing came close to the sound I loved in Aether. CSR was a compromise in choice, that I hopefully no longer need to make now that Breeze is available.
I also need to give Eos another try, now that I would not mind having another compliment to what are my "go-to" reverb choices (Aether and Breeze).
I've also become a major fan of ValhallaShimmer, since I consider it an all-around-creativity-tool, rater than just a competing reverb product (but I can't say that without making note of the beautiful lush tails). A lot of different sounds can be made just by selecting certain settings, and then even more can be done by recording the results on the fly to another track (my choice, although I realize I've never tried to automate any of the parameters). In some of my latest projects I've made use of ValhallaShimmer (multiple parallel instances) alongs side Aether (both in parallel and in serial) for some (again... IMO) extremely interesting sounds. This is one of my favorite combinations.

Ok. Beginning to wonder now. Can anyone confirm if the link in my previous post is broken?
