"twice as many things" compared to the actual ACE... "
Two Laptops :-o

Can we foresee an upgrade for ACE users?
Will ACE XL be more demanding (CPU) than Berlin?

Note:
ACE is contributing in solving the Global Warming....
"Freeze" all tracks! But what a sound!

ACE is basically an "advance" to Berlin Modular. If you have ACE, you can buy your Berlin Modular license for the exact difference in price.

Berlin Modular will then contain Bazille, ACE XL and either that L.u.s.h. idea or that modular drum machine idea or maybe even a sample thing. 3 things though, at least.

Great! Thank you.
I am so busy with Zebra and ACE that I never investigated the Berlin Modular yet.
I did some reading and now I understand (at least more than before).
Your stuff is just magnificent.

If you make a sampler Urs, plz, plz, PLZ(!), make it actually SAMPLE! No more sample players...

LoFi options(i.e.sound like old skool AKAI) and resynthesis( )....

The idea about a sample based instrument in Berlin Modular is merely on the LoFi side. Something like sample buffers with modular access to all sorts of parameters (playback speed/direction, playback position, record/play). Might be good for physical modeling and weird stuff. Dunno. I tend more towards the drum/sequence synth.

I would def like to see a drum/seq thing from Urs, but the sample thing you describe would also be rather cool, erm..

both please 8)

I wish ACE XL to be a bit like bazille: fully modular, no cables, no sound but on the analog side of sound... can't wait for this big bad modular monster to be released!!!

this synth is great!
But How do I load the presets!

-Does it work internally?
The FLStudio vst wrapper doesn't read .h2p format! The preset list stays empty!
.data folder is next to the .dll

Does this plugin work forever?
Because your "0.3" version- Is the best, dam synth I have. Beats all my freebies
Amazing work! Great Gui, very clean and logic! Absolutely amazing.
It gives me a lust to create sounds, unlike most other synths.

I would buy the final version!

What seemed to work for me in Windows 7 64 bit was this:
1. Open Bazille
2. Save the current preset (even though it's pretty much blank.)
3. Make sure the other presets are in same directory as the preset you saved in step 2
4. Re-open Bazille

Good luck

Btw: I've noticed some strange GUI behavior using MouseKeys (this is a Windows accessibility feature, so maybe you can recreate it yourself!), in Bazille it strangely performs a 'right-click' when it should perform a standard-click.

Did you use some special code to handle the clicking? MouseKeys is known to be delicate to work for 10% Windows apps, But I've never experienced this problem?

Edit: 'save' is even stranger. It instantaneously saves the current preset, while skipping the 'Enter Name' box.

Ok this helped! I moved all presets to basic 'Preset' folder and re-saved 'initializing'. Now everything's on the list! Working!

One request: Please make NEXT / PREVIOUS PRESET button's! I absolutely need to play along while browsing the presets! Also the list is too long, and further down I need to scroll each time.

Yeeeeeeeeees, i have also been thinking its about time we had a synth with audio buffer control built into the architecture rather than tacking it on the end....finally a new synth paradigm 8)
