How do you mean - feeding the output back into the input? Is that possible with Elhardt's resonator?GeorgeZ wrote:Circular routing capable.hakey wrote:There's nothing there that you couldn't already replicate in Zebra - unless I'm missing something?

Of course - it's hardware.hakey wrote:feeding the output back into the input? Is that possible with Elhardt's resonator?

Yes, but I presume that would require a mixer to split off some of the output and mix it back into the input signal? Or does the resonator have two/multiple inputs and outputs (and each with its own gain)? The way that GeorgeZ talked about circular routing implied that this was a particular feature of the resonator (not just any hardware with an input and output).Howard wrote:Of course - it's hardware.hakey wrote:feeding the output back into the input? And would feedback even produce desirable results - overdrive perhaps? Isn't it more likely to produce *bad* feedback?

Sorry, I'm a pillik...
thought you were talking about Bazille (which has circular routing).
As for the resonator, it's very possible to do circular routing with them, but as you noted you'd need a mixer, or a multiple (like Bazille has) to be able to feed it's output into itself.

So what about the gui size? Would another option be possible? It would make working with Bazilles gui a lot more ergonomic. Cheers.

Just right click the background of the GUi and you'll get a resize menu.
BTW I find changing the modulation sources on the appropriate knobs (those with ... ) weird and pretty sensible, I often have to click a few times before I get the menu. Sometimes It works just fine, I can right click anywhere on the knob and I'll get the sources menu.
I just tried today for the first time Bazille and It's quite an amazing synth. The way you modulate with this thing is just ...
Hats off Mr Heckmann!

What i meant was an option between normal and large; my second monitors resolution is 1440x900 plus it's a couple of feet away from me. Normal is too small and large cuts off the bottom. Wierdly, it's started crackling here today and i seem to have two 0.4 versions.

Just wanted to say how much I'm enjoying experimenting with Bazille - version 0.4 is the first I've tried - just one question: The system presets folder seems to empty on 0.4 mac version, is this intentional? If so fine...I'm happily making my own presets, just wondered that's all...

They need to be in MacHD/Library/Audio/Presets/u-he/Bazille (no subfolders yet)

Thank you Urs,
yep, I have them in right location and I sussed out the subfolder issue, when I loaded Goerge V's presets from the patchlib
btw despite your warnings cpu usage is preety good on my dual core 2ghz, 2gig ram Macbook - never had anything above 41%; which is less than I get on ACE sometimes...
