A first test release of the MuVerb Vst plug-in for Windows is available at http://www.mutools.com/muverb-vst/muver ... st-win.zip
Although it's a bit more cpu hungry (free test version), this MuVerb Vst plug-in is a very nice sounding reverb and you're free to use it in your (commercial) tracks.
Please feedback if you would encounter any issues.
Hope you'll enjoy using it!

Works fine in Reaper v3.73 (x64). Of course, it's good to start from a large-sounding source, so I went for SuperWave P8's "Emerson" patch...

Then added some MuVerb Grand Hall reverb:

I notice that the patch names don't appear in Reaper -- some people are going to find that "a problem". It sounds wonderful, though!

An updated MuVerb Vst version (1.0.1) is available at http://www.mutools.com/muverb-vst/muver ... st-win.zip
What's changed: When loading another patch or changing the patch name, the host display is also updated.

Note that this free test version does not use any 'vst programs'. If you want to select a MuVerb patch, you can use the MuVerb GUI.pljones wrote:I notice that the patch names don't appear in Reaper -- some people are going to find that "a problem".
With the new MuVerb Vst version 1.0.1, the current selected patch name should be visible in the host though. (if the host has such display of course)
It sounds wonderful, though!

The MuVerb VST Free Test package has been updated.
Whats' changed:
* Dry/Wet parameter renamed to Wet/Dry
* Instability parameter renamed to Ambience
You don't have to copy the new DLL (it's still version 1.0.1) as the changes are in the .Mux patch files.
Any existing projects using the MuVerb VST will still reflect the previous parameter names.

Gave MuVerb a test spin in FL Studio.
Seems to be a very nice Reverb.
My comments:

My comments:
- 235 Files and 28 folders in the installation!
For VST's I think you should come up with a completely new look to differentiate from built-in plugins.
Tweaking is easy, but will need a few more presets.
CPU usage seemed OK.
I was able to obtain a really nice sounding reverb.

Why would you use MuVerb VST in MU.LAB?jpumphandle wrote:Difficult to put into words but ...mutools wrote:Why?jpumphandle wrote:For VST's I think you should come up with a completely new look to differentiate from built-in plugins.
- Nothing tells you it's a VST plugin.
Used in MuLab, you get two confusing headers.
It's not striking.
Besides this, i think the uniformity is a plus.

Maybe MUTOOLS VSTs based on MUX etc could be identified by MU.LAB and the appropriate internal module loaded along with the patch set for the VST?

Because if I'm planning to move my project to another DAW for a specific reason I can take MuVerb with me without re-inventing the wheel.... So hopefully you are getting ready with more effects (portables) and some Synths as well.mutools wrote:Why would you use MuVerb VST in MU.LAB?
I am not planning to use other DAWs really, but flexibility is my fixation.
