Never heard about something like that. Could you make a screenshot? Does it disappear, or is it persistent?

i tried hitting print screen and pasting into paint.net but it does not show up when I do that. And I cannot do the lasso screen capture without moving my mouse.
The black box is where the pointer would be for the mouse.

Ok, so it is a cursor? (when you move mouse, it is there again...)

Been a long time since I saw this post. I think it has to do with my graphics cards being overwhelmed. I noticed when I got the black box cursor, other things were not really displaying right either.
Sorry.
Would love to see 64 bit plus. I am using Sonar x1 right now, but i have a demo of Studio 1. I think it only uses 64bit native plugs.
Honestly, I do not think there is a huge advantage to 64 bit OS unless you use lots of samples (I do) but the J bridge and bit bridge stuff - I hate it. Routinely get "Teleport server has stopped working..." error.

No problem, it is always good to know about potential problems. You know there is such a huge variety of hardware for Windows, that it cannot be always perfect. Interestingly Macs have the same problems (and from what I know, more of it) and they are on just a few HW, so it is probably just human error as usual
.
Anyway 64-bit is available for Windows. I recomment not to use bridges unless totally necessary. Btw. I wrote some info about 64 vs 32:
