Hi there !

I have a problem with my Zebra 2.5 ;
and I hope to find help here cause I dont know where to start.

I'm using windows xp 32 bit and ableton live 8.
My problem is; as soon as I hit the stop button in Live, certain presets change their sounds meanwhile the settings appear the same.

feel free to ask me for more information, since I dont know where the problem could be. thanks a lot !!!

are you using a legit copy??

really??

Hi Jesse,

This could be an accidental MIDI learn. Open the file

..Vstplugins\Zebra2.data\Support\com.u-he.Zebra2.midimap.txt

in Wordpad and maybe erase any entries, or post the content here.

Cheers,

;) Urs

Not all customer problems hint at crack usage, this one certainly doesn't ;)

My apologies, I read something yesterday, where you had mentioned having protection inside zebra, that won't show until someone had been editing presets for awhile.. I owe theOP and you an apology

I'm sorry

I'm new to Zebra, but when I experienced this similar sensation, I played around with MIDI note overlaps - and I was able to better understand how to get consistent results. (Something something, triggering the envelope, or something. Ymmv.)

Ha!

scope, it's also possible this is due to sending MIDI program change events. Zebra responds to those messages and loads presets found in the "MIDI Programs" folder.

In Live, does it send out certain MIDI resets upon hitting the Stop button? If you had any MIDI linked CC to certain parameters in Zebra, maybe that could be the cause.

Thanks a lot, it worked perfect. You realy saved my live there :) never thought about something like that. I've erased any entry's and backed em up, since i have no idea what they are there for, should i repost em or just have fun using zebra?
