hi urs, first of all, all the best for 2011 :) . do you think it would be possible to have an optional skin for ace which more resembles the zebra or bazille skin? i like the more modern 2d look of these skins and since ace is an offspring of the bazille/berlin modular development a respective skin might even already exist or has possibly been used during the ace development? a more modern skin might also fit a bit better in the complete u-he line with filterscape and mfm.
keep up the good work and i'm looking forward to your new and updated products in 2011.
cheers

would be cool,
i second this idea. i love the original GUI of ACE, but to be honest, its one of those vsti that needs numerous skins, kinda like Firebird+ (one of my fave plugs due to the sound AND the fact that you have a handful of GREAT skins accessible through the GUI. sweet!)

Is the current UI difficult to use?

Is the UI so ugly that it's unpleasant to look at?

Would a different skin improve the sound?

I can think of some plugins for which the answer to one, or both, of the first two questions is 'No', and where a different UI might be a good idea - ACE isn't one of them.

I don't know of any plugins where the answer to the last question is 'Yes'. ;)
