The Uniwire plugin is not visible in Pro Tools. I get the following message when I execute vstprobe manually:

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
VstProbe.exe -- 01/01/11 04:40:11
File: c:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins\Muse Research\Uniwire Instrument.dll

ERROR: The plug-in DLL failed to load or vst::main() returned null, could not continue.

When I attempt to invoke wrapperconfig2 from C:\Program Files (X86)\Steinberg\\VstPlugins\Muse Research\vst2rtas211, I am prompted to enter my VST-RTAS Adapter v2.0 Serial Number, which I don't have.

I have also tried copying Uniwire FX.dll and Uniwire Instrument.dll to C:\Program Files (X86)\Steinberg\\VstPlugins\Muse Research\vst2rtas211\vtplugins, but this doesn't help. Note that I do have the Focusrite Liquid Mix 32 plugin running successfully and visible within Pro Tools. I am using Pro Tools 9 with an 002R interface. I am able to successfully connect to the Receptor using vncviewer, but am not able to turn on Uniwire from the front panel setup option. I am running Windows 7 64-bit on a quad core Intel CPU. I have tried installing the Receptor tools with different compatibility options, and have installed as Administrator, but am still not able to see the Uniwire plugin after restarting Pro Tools.

Anyone have this working, or can tell me what I am doing wrong? BTW, I did get Komplete 7 installed successfully, thanks to help from the Receptor team and the new Direct Install 2.0 Beta program.

Thanks,
Gerry

Should also mention that I am able to connect to the Receptor with the Remote interface, and see the Receptor drive. I am connected via a crossover cable from my workstation/desktop.

Contacted Muse support, was told a) Uniwire is not tested on Pro Tools 9, and b) Uniwire not supported for 64 bit Windows.

So my questions are:

1) Does anyone have Uniwire working with Pro Tools 9? If so, are there any differences in performance/stability compared to Uniwire on Pro Tools 8?

2) Does anyone have Uniwire working with any version of Pro Tools on Windows 7 64 bit?

Hope someone out there can share their experience!
