I've always been a fan of osc-sync type effects. A while ago I noticed there are at least 3 opportunities in the oscillator section, to do osc sync on the same waveform. Once in the 'phase' tab, and twice in the OSC FX section. Given that there's the option to do fractal sync with two of these slots, there is quite a huge scope for different setups of recursive sync sweeps.

But you can go further, if you create a wavetable which sounds like sync (I have one which is two cycles of a perfect square wave, where all the points bunch up to a pile on the left as you move wavewarp... Sounds very much like sync, but without the transition changes at the end of the waveform). That's quadruple synch if you modulate them all at once!

Haven't used it in a song yet, but I have wasted WAY too much time goofing around with Zeb and an oscilloscope :)

I've been thinking of posting my library of oscillator presets here, to see what people can do with them. If anyone has any nerdy oscillator tricks they've found, musically useful or not, please post them here!

Honestly, more than one time I've made a really pretty waveform, and was so proud of it I didn't want to add effects/filters to improve it... It SOUNDED better with a bit of chorus and a filter envelope, but it completely ruined the delicate symmetry I'd set up. I ended up making two versions.

Well my ears are blind but usually like asymmetrical sounds

Made me think of this post from a while ago:

The URL in that post is dead, but the waves are mirrored at the patchlib:

I say release 'em Sendy! I'd love to see what you've been geeking out to in your mad-scientist lab. :)

Sweet, I'll grab those. Though I have to say I don't understand the OP's feelings. It seems Zeb has a huge range of sync effects on offer, especially now we have Wrap.

I have a few sync variations in my wave library, which I'll clean up and post here.

Only thing I'm left wanting sync wise from Zebra, is soft sync like on the Ion board, where the slave reverses it's waveform instead of resetting it. This is a *really* interesting and unexplored effect.

And perhaps a rickroll synch effect, where a Rick Astley song is inserted into your waveform at the frequency of the master osc :-o
