Had to reinstall 1.1 since Logic don't recognize them as the same plugin after updating (won't load the plugin w sessions that used 1.1)...

Saved the presets, put the global presets in user folder

Reinstall 1.5, now it wiped out ALL my presets from the folder...


Would moving ConsequenceInstruments folder location previously (at 1.1) affect this? Odd thing is my preset folder was under my home folder/Documents... And 1.1 couldn't read any factory presets at all that was from 1.5.

Downgraded everything back for now... Thankfully still have some backups.

Hi,

we've uploaded Consequence for Mac once again. The AU identifier is fixed, so a recall of songs made with version 1.1 should work now.

Cause of our new structure all presets will now be installed to the Documents folder (...Documents/Sugar Bytes/Consequence). Also the the ConsequenceInstruments folder is now fix (Applications/Sugar Bytes/Consequence/Intrument). The old ConsequenceInstruments folder from version 1.1 is obsolete and can be deleted.

The deletetion of your copied presets is curious. The installer shouldn't touch them.

I don't have time right now to try to reproduce the bug, but I am positive it did; It certainly put my preset into Documents folder 1.1 -> 1.5 but after downgrade back to 1.1, they were still there. Only when I install 1.5 again it deleted it (searched file system and nada). My only guess is it overwrote the whole folder when installing.

Also may I ask why the preset folder is under documents not like (mostly) everyone else under Library/Application Support/?
