Guitar Rig 2 Tremolo out of sync.......sometimes?!?!?!?!

I am trying to get this tremolo guitar effect to work and I thought I had it, but sometimes it's not in sync with my click track.

I'm using the original Receptor with Guitar Rig 2 (tempo synced tremolo) and it's set to receive MIDI Clock from an external source. I have Ableton set up to trigger the Receptor's tempo and start my song. It always sends the right tempo to the Receptor, but sometimes the tremolo is locked perfectly and sometimes it's not. This tremolo is currently the only patch loaded, so it's not like there is delay coming from switching multis. It's just sitting there, waiting for guitar signal and the right tempo. Why wouldn't it work every time?

Also, I was wondering if the Receptor has a MIDI Tap Tempo function? If it does, then I can bring the effect back in time if need be.
