Problem with Receptor & Ableton

Trying to use Receptor with Ableton Live via Uniwire plugin. At first it was ridiculously quiet, then cut out completely when I tried to play a drum loop at the same time.
Stopped the drum loop and it still wouldn't respond. Stopped the track playing (nothing was actually playing but Ableton starts it going when you start a loop), then it went really quiet again, then sound went crackly and crap and has now cut out again.
What is the problem?

Can you clarify what you are using the Receptor for in your scenario? That is, is it hosting your drum VSTi (supplying your drum sounds), or are you using it for effects, or....??

Bump, please I really need help with this, have put a video up to show exactly what happens:
Please note there's nothing wrong with the microphone, the sound you hear is exactly what's coming out of the speakers. It starts properly when I stop the beat

It sure seems odd that your drums, if they're just a wave file being played back, are crapping out. Do your laptop or Receptor indicate abnormally-high CPU usage when the output goes bad? If so, does removing the Uniwire plugin at least get the drums working again? As for the crackly audio from the Receptor, does your UniWire GUI indicate audio dropouts when the crackling starts? Maybe your latency is set too low.
I don't have Ableton experience so can't suggest anything specific there. Anybody else?

There's nothing wrong with the drums they carry on playing fine. There's no indication of high cpu usage from laptop or Receptor, will try adjusting latency this afternoon
