MU.LAP does not respond to mose

Hello,
I recently downloaded the newest MU.LAB version 3.2.5 and unzipped it and started it - everything without problem.
However, not all buttons I am supposed to be able to use respond to my clicking on them. E.g. the play button does not behave like a button but more like a picture: I see it is there but nothing happens when I click on it. I can without trouble open the virtual piano, but I can not make any sound, neither by clicking on a note nor my pressing a random button of the QWERTY-line even though precisely that has been selected.
When I open a new session, do minimal changes and exit the program, a window pops up (quit and save changes, etc.) and I manage to click on any of the buttons just fine.
I am using Windows 7 (64 Bit). Is it the OS or am I doing something wrong?

I installed ASIO4ALL and now it seems to work!
All buttons I couldn't click on now work.
Still, one thing that bothers me with ASIO4All: why can't I play music from winamp/Windows media player and a VST synth simultaneously?

Thank you.
That explaines a lot.
Apparently ASIO4ALL is not multiclient.
Funny, though that I used a headset with USB-connection and it was recognised as an audio device, so my Music came out of my ordniary speakers whilst what I was playing on a VST-synth was audible over my headphones.
Is there a multi-client ASIO driver suitable form Windows 7 (64 bit)?

I found this:

Is it possible that you have two audio devices?

Oh well, then I might just as well get used to the thought of having to use headset and speakers to be able to play two things at the same time.
Thanks for the effort.
