Hi,
A few weeks ago, my Receptor (1.0 rev B, system 1.7.20080616) started coming up with "Receptor Recovery - Restart?" when I switched it on. I'd choose restart and it would come up ok, albeit on an unusual patch. Just about every time I start the Receptor it does this.
I'm concerned there's some kind of corruption or something of the drive. Is there any way it can be diagnosed further, and fixed? I'm worried as I'll be touring with this Receptor soon, and really would like to build a bit more confidence in it (while saving up for a Receptor 2+ !!).
Any advice/insights/suggestions very welcome!!
Neil

There are also some other threads on this topic in the Receptor Discussion and Support forum you could search for. (I just searched for "recovery".)

You might want to fill out a help desk ticket... there are a few things to try, but often times the Recovery Restart error happens when the PCI card has been knocked out of place if dropped on its back... you might want to check that it is firmly seated in the PCI slot. There are a few other things that can cause this, so you like I said, filling out a help desk ticket is the best thing to do.ndurant wrote:Hi,

Thanks Bryan, I think that's probably the best thing to do. I saw the list of common causes of this issue, including the dislodged PCI card, so I opened up the Receptor and it was very firmly in place (and mine also has the small foam pad to help it stay there). I pressed it down anyway but it didn't move at all. After booting up again I got the same problem, so I don't think it's the PCI card issue unfortunately. I will try a help desk ticket - thankyou!
