I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

yeah, sorry,i don't like bitching about products and i also don't like to flame a discussion, why it does make a bad impression for me.
so it's difficult to answer but to stay on topic....

A guy on Gearsluts pointed out to me "use the effects gain section" bottom right of GUI it does the trick , how the hell did i miss that lolcryophonik wrote:I hadn't noticed that, but yeah, I was thinking of a global balance. It would be nice if it could be assigned to the modwheel as well. I'm going to dig deeper into Stutter Edit later today, so I'll take a look for the snapshot dry levels - that may just do it for me anyway. Thanks!Sampleconstruct wrote: There is an option for dry amount in each snapshot, but not globally...
BTW, checking out your patch bank demo now - cool stuff!

yeah I tried this in Cubase SX 2.2.2 and 3.1, and had the same problem in both - the plugin didn't show up as a destination for MIDI data. It's a shame but Izotope must not have tested it with legacy versions of Cubase. I saw other people noting the same problem further back in this post. Hopefully Izotope might get this sorted soon and put out an update.

But if like you, I was getting a free copy, then I would also defending this cuntlike pricing.

Hey folks... Thanks for using Stutter Edit. It's awesome that a lot of you are enjoying it and already creating cool sounds and preset banks.
I wanted to drop a quick note about host compatability:
We've looked at this in a lot of hosts... A short list off my head: Cubase 4+, Pro Tools 7+, Logic 8+, Reaper 3, StudioOne, Live 6+, Sonar 8+, Digital Performer 6+... Pretty much anything that's in the quick start guide, we've looked at Stutter Edit in at least the latest version.
If a host can't route MIDI to a plug-in (and not every version of every host can), there's nothing we can do to make Stutter Edit compatible. We basically say to the host, "Hey, we have a MIDI input," and the host needs to recognize that. If you are using a legacy version of Cubase and know of a plug-in that you can route MIDI to, please send me an e-mail using the e-mail link in my profile and tell me what version of Cubase (or whatever host) you're using and what plug-in so we can further research compatibility.
Those of you who are up and running with this: I hope you continue to have fun and that SE helps you experience a quick and creative method for working with your audio!
