Digital clocks don't agree

I'm having a problem using both S/Pdif and Adat outs. If I clock my 828 to the S/Pdif I get noise outs on the ADAT, if I clock to adat I get noise on the S/Pdif. So I can't use both at the same time. I'm guessing this means that the two sources on the receptor don't line up (don't share the same master clock somehow). I'll try making the receptor slave to the 828 and see if that cleans things up. Also, while on this topic, would be nice if Main analog out and adat 1-2 weren't permanently married in the output setup.
