Hi.
My 3 week old receptor 2 pro max (SSD 256) has started making very loud noise ( i think from the fan) on start up.
sometimes it fades away but other times not so much. it just started today. anyone else had this?

I just upgraded a rev C to "2 pro" and the fan runs fast until the bios has detected the cooling preferences. This is pretty normal for most computer systems. If it's still running fast once you see "copyright 2009" or whatever come up on the lcd then something else is wrong. At least it's not a mac pro g5 eh? rrrRRRRrrrrrr.

I had the same problem when it was new. Opened it up and the fan was barly rubbing against the heat sink fins. Took it apart, tooled the shroud that holds the fan, replaced the screws that held the fan on with those rubber fan mounts and used a better compound between the sink and cpu when I put it back to gether.
you have to be careful when drilling, there isn't that much material so under size the holes for the mounts and elong gate the holes where the shroud attaches to the sink if you need to.
You might need to get MUSE to send you a new fan if it's screwed up aswell. I looked for a more quiet fan, but couldn't find one that matched the the cfm of the existing so I bought one that was as close as I could get which wasn't that far off, but MUSE will void you if you have a heat related problem in the future.

A minor scale is a major scale starting 3 half steps down from the major and visa versa. Any Chord has as many versions as it has notes.
