Question: Does your company actually test Thesys AU in say Garageband?
Because if they did, they would find it is unusable.
Now I know the workaround setup, with a new bus1 selection for AU output. No problem.
Now just using Thesys internal synth to play, causes a problem, as once the sequence is playing. The notes that the sequence plays, trigger the function keys, like pitch, pattern, and the rest. These triggered function keys are causing sound drop outs, and glitch type problems, and eventually Garageband just shuts the audio down all together.
The VST version and standalone do not exhibit this behavior.
Now if you load Thesys in Garageband for me, and find that you don't have this problem. What is it your doing different to not have it.
Cuz I can't get the latest build to function correctly, as in not triggering the function keys from notes played in the sequence, for the life of me.
I simply can't see how something like this could just slip by the testing.
Is there anyone else noticing this behavior or is it just me?

The problem is that Garagband has no midi routing option.
It just sends all incoming midi to the selected(!) track.
If you have the Thesys track selected, this will lead to the behavior you described because the sended midi is routed back to Thesys. I recommend to just drag n drop the midi export from Thesys to the instrument track you want to trigger.
