midi control of channel bypasses

I have a RevC receptor, version 1.7.20080616,
I control it from a Behringer FCB1010 midi footswitch.

Now I want to set up multi patches,
where i use the FCB1010 to toggle the channel bypasses.

ie, For channel #1
ON = midi channel 1, CC116, 127
OFF = midi channel 1, CC116, 00

When i test this it doesn't work.

Is there some trick to this?

Have you checked to see whether the FCB is actually sending those CC's and values? I use an FCB1010, and it can be fickle when it comes to toggling. MIDI Ox is a good free program for checking MIDI activity.

I successfully use the FCB1010 to change patches and etc,
so i assume it is sending those CC's.

Though I have never before used the toggle function.

I mainly asked as i was unsure whether midi control
of the channel bypasses was allowed.

I'll install a midi monitor and have a look.

it's CC109 for muting a channe! works fine over here with my PC3X.
