How to run .exe in receptor? (standalone plugin)

Hi there,

I've been trying to have possibility to register Chipsounds in Receptor. Registering is done by dragging a file to Chipsounds standalone window.

So is there any way to have the standalone running in Receptor (just for registering)? It's already installed on my drive, but don't know can the .exe file be opened or how to do it.

I asked this matter on Plogue forums, and they have been very helpful there and they are even trying to work out something, but meanwhile I'd like to do my own homework for this.

Another possibility to register it is to copy the registration file to Receptor HD and write a line in registry, but as I have been asking here earlier, there seems nobody who could have helped me on that.

FYI, the Chipsounds demo runs in Receptor, but I don't recommend to try it, because you fell in love with it, and get frustrated, if you can't have it registered! and

Don't know if this is an obvious answer, but have you copied the file to the Drop Installers Here folder?

Like I said, may be silly answer

It's a good answer...but, I've tried that, and seems that only installers go through there.
