it's driving me nuts, i cant seem to figure out how to just route the audio.. it keeps sending midi too which triggers the stutter

Well...
Not being able to get in on that 98 or some odd dollar deal kinda put a damper on this for me. Now I have to make a choice: let it slide, and have to pay $100 more for it in the future, or buy it on credit without the immediate cash to back it up.
I've got steady enough income, but I don't like carrying a balance on my card. Guess I got until the 14th to decide if it's a "need" sort of plug.

I picked it up yesterday and its a real blast to use. I can see using it in a variety of styles, for scores and experimental stuff. Really well designed, a joy to mangle with.

I dont know, but I flipped trough the presets and had stutter on the master and what a shit. every breakdown mixed it up and stuttered it, but not in any "musical" way. No cool groove or anything, just stutter.
If they skipped the last 0 on the pricetag it _might_ be worth it.

But as with every buffer sutterer plugin, using it on the master is kind of foolish. Certainly for my tastes.

It's very useful for adding some magic at the end of a musical phrase or drum loop (like a pickup). I like pepper, but I don't smother my food with it.

Count me in as a convert as well.
Back on page 3, I wondered about the value of this plugin at the given price point, and while I still think it's a *tad* high, I'm pulling the trigger anyway.
After following this discussion, I figured I'd at least give the demo a fair shake... and what I've found is yes, indeed, it will save me a great deal of time in my productions, because despite its name, it's actually quite more flexible than simply a "stutter effect" (which, as I stated way back near the beginning I would use only rarely).
However, my work involves lots of sound design and creating short music loops for online games. I can see Stutter Edit getting a lot of use for the builds that employ to smooth out the loop points or for breaks in the typical tracks I do produce. Even more so, it's a great whoosh/filter tool for sound effects. I was also enjoying "remixing" some simple drum loops into more complex (dare I say cinematic/"commercial") rhythms, and really grew to appreciate the flexibility of some of the parameters and the "randomness factor" it can generate over a vanilla drum track. I also found the interface pretty intuitive, and was able to "get it" right away, so hats off to the designers there, too!
The biggest thing for me, I guess, is to make sure I'd be using BT's plugin to *NOT* sound like BT, and I think there's a lot of flexibility inherent for doing so with a little digging and experimentation.

That was was my first thought when demoing. Due to what this plugin does I have it ona didicated FX channel strip, use the effect with mute and volume fader to implement the effect, bit like a dj mixer.
