I am trying out the control demo on a mac with ableton 8 wanting to build a control for the waldorf blofeld but I cannot get the routing right. I have read the tutorial Digital Peak Meter Pro In Ableton Live but I am unable to set it up the same - if I put the plugin on an audio channel, I cannot send the midi data from it to another channel.
I'm pretty certain this is exactly the program I am looking for and I intend to build a few controls and skins for various external synths but until I can get past this hurdle Im not going anywhere!
control setup help

Hi,
thank you for your interest in our plug-in. At which step are you exactly blocked? Don't you see the audio track in the "MIDI From" dropdown as shown below?

Since you are on Mac, please make sure that you are using the VST version: Live does not support MIDI routing for Audio Units yet I think.

that fixed it thanks, I was working with the AU version. I've done a basic control over the three oscillators and it works! I'm going to do a little refining and then il post some images or maybe even a video and I plan on doing a tutorial on how to set up an control64 to control an external synth. great program, thanks alot of your help

Great! I guess we should add this precision about AU in our tutorial. You are not the first to ask the question!
