Hey all,
My laptop was recently updated from XP to W7, and now the OS is helpfully preventing Zebra from working properly.
The Zebra2.data folder is currently in the Program Files(x86)/VstPlugins folder, so any normal write operations are prohibited. I'm assuming I need to uninstall and install in a different location. What's recommended?
thanks,
--bongo
what's the recommended install for Win7, and how best to fix a bad one?

Hi there bongo,
Urs has a post just for you on this topic

I've also posted about this elsewhere:

I hope this helps, if you're still stuck let me know and I'll see if I can help out.
Cheers,

EDIT: I forgot to mention, you don't need to re-install Zebra (or any other u-he plugin). Just move that Zebra2.data folder elsewhere and create the shortcut link as mentioned in the above 2 posts. After that you should be up and running again.
