Hey Urs!

Maybe you remember my request for Diva to be (extra) usable with midicontrollers and especially NI's Maschine.

Well it turned out that ACE actually is great for this. I can link the same parameters to knobs on the maschine hardware, but i create different synths depending on how the cables are connected, giving them a little character on their own!

I checked out the demo of zebra (took a while before i remembered the detuning :hihi: ) and i really like the 4 x/y you can link stuff to. Maybe something to consider for Diva (and a future update of ace? ;)) In many cases that fixes any problematic situation you can run into using an external midicontroller only.

One last thing: Your plugins doesnt seem to respond to midi program change. Is there something i can mess with LSB/MSB to sort that out? You see, on the maschine and the 1.6 patch (still in beta) there's an issue with presets - you can only access them from software unless you store them one by one .. they had some issues and difficulties and couldn't sort it for this patch. Anyway, i use an external controller with a knob bound to program change. And it works ... for a few synths, but none of yours :(

I hope you're well and in a good mood :)

Ah but they do. :) From the beta manual:
Howard's Zebra Manual (beta) wrote:The MIDI Programs folder
Local (presets) also contains a special folder called MIDI Programs, which is initially empty. If you put a bunch of patches (up to 128) in there, they are all loaded each time Zebra2 starts.
Individual patches are activated via MIDI program change messages. As patches are accessed in alphabetical order, it is a good idea to put a number at the
beginning of each name: '000 rest-of-name' to '127 rest-of-name' or similar.

Banks: The MIDI Programs folder can contain up to 128 sub-folders (of 128 patches each), and these are switchable via MIDI bank select messages.
