Recording problem with M3.2.7

Hi
Opening old projects with audio files works fine, but whenever I want to record a new audio file I get several errors:
- File is not recorded until end (ex: I record from bar 1 to bar 6 and appears recorded until bar 4 only)
- When I try to stretch the audio track to fit the length of the recorded stuff, it mess up the rhythm.
- The image of wav is not in sync with the sound, so I can't fit it to anything.

That sounds like the sample rate set in MU.LAB doesn't match the sample rate actually in use... I had that once and couldn't reproduce it, so didn't report it. I'd cut'n'paste an edited audio file from Audacity at 48K into MU.LAB, which was still set to 44K1. Correcting it and retrying still had sample rate problems -- I had to reboot my machine in the end, if I remember correctly.

I have same samplerate all the time in all programs, 44.1KHz. Restarted the computer and when I reopened the project the audio sounded ok, the image was out of sync. When I zoom in or out, the audio gets out of sync and never get back.
That is weird and I didn't had this problem with previous versions.

Can you expand on that? Mine might have been, too - and knowing what I'd done wrong and how to fix it would save possible future pain.sorohanro wrote:Solved.
Was related to tempo settings.

Well, was like this:
I started the project at 84 BPM, programed some drums, some bass... then realized that it would sound better at 94 BPM. I changed the tempo from the main control bar (where is also the "play" button, up the CPU usage meter).
Then I set up my recording stuff and started recording.
Everything went fine but the track recorded was shorter that it should (I hit the stop button around bar no6 and the track recorded ended at bar no4).
When play the track from beginning things sounded normal, when played from the middle (say bar no3), everything got messed up badly.
Got suddenly the idea to click on the "edit tempo changes" and there was the problem. The first tempo setting remained there, it was 84 BPM even that the song was playing at 94.
After fixing that, the audio track was played normal (still, the image was out of sync).

That could be what I had -- I was switching from 120 to 130, I think... I'll have to give it a try.
