iLok is $40 for the original, or $50 for the newly-released iLok v2.

Having searched around recently, I can say that you'll rarely pay less than list for either kind of iLok. Even eBay auctions only tend to run a few bucks less.

Without the SDOTD it's still $38.99. They used to include a USB drive for free a couple of months ago.
AudioMidi has had it for $39.99 for a while now. Amazon also has it cheap, probably still from these vendors.

Only works as a plugin, and there's no stand-alone mode. It may be version 1, but the upgrade to version 2 is free.
Not bad, decent price, but not a great product.
