Sound sheets for minimoog

I found some orignal Minimoog sound sheets/charts where it shows what knobs to set/turn, etc., to make the certain presets heard here and there on certain albums.

It has 3 oscillators, and Sylenth 1 has 4. It won't be exactly the same of course, but could be a good starting point.

I was thinking it would be cool to translate what it has there to Sylenth's controls. Anyone good with the Minimmog here on KVR want to take a stab at it?

I know the filters and certain other things (almost everything) are different, but it would be cool to hear it in a newer synth like Sylenth1.

Just no sure how to go about it, as I am not a Minimmoog expert at all.

Sure. OP-X is a great emulation. Maybe one of the best hardware emulations on the market, especially the Pro II version.

interesting to use the sound charts I found to see what happens.

I dont know how well it would sound anyway. Like if it says put the filter cutoff to 20% then the sylenth cutoff at 20% might sound totally different from the moog at 20%.

I'm not sure. Sylenth is a very modern VA, it is comparable to a Virus, not so much to an OB-X or any other of the old gems. When I listen to the OP-X sounds I immediately have the 80s in my mind. When I listen to Sylenth, I hear modern trance (and other state-of-the-art electronic music).

Edit: there're also this typical drifts and instabilities, caused be analogue circuits, that can't really be reproduced with Sylenth. OP-X Pro II does a great job here.

I was just thinking of using them as a starting point, it might cool try to do that, and then make adjustments afterwards.
