midi learn in zebra

So I just noticed there was some midi learn going on on a zebra instance, so I unlearnead... and then I opened another preset and the midi learn is gone!
Is the midi learn function global in zebra? for all instances on all projects?
Wouldn't it be more intelligent to be saved with the preset and work only in 1 instance?

Currently midi-learn is global across all instances of Zebra2. Yes, it would make sense for Midi learns to be more intelligent. Urs has said several times it's on his long feature list for future Zebras. It's just not there today.

Might also want to mention the MIDI learn (and all note data for that matter) doesn't distinguish between different midi channels (Midi chan 1 CC2 is identical to Midi channel 7 CC2).Howard wrote:Your pain, our gain - I just added a mention of this to the manual - thanks!pierb wrote:Doh....
