Thanks for the manual. Great read. Would it be possible to add a little switch to switch off the diffuse reverb tail, i.e. solo just the ERs? Or am i missing something?

Turning the Time setting to the minimum (0.10) will give something similar to this effect. Does that work for you?loopdon wrote:Thanks for the manual. Great read. Would it be possible to add a little switch to switch off the diffuse reverb tail, i.e. solo just the ERs? Or am i missing something?

Why am I finding the CPU usage between Aether and Breeze the opposite of what I should expect?
I can run Aether with no troubles whatsover, runs perfectly and sounds brilliant.
However, when I open Breeze it runs like a *****. Even selecting presets takes a good several seconds...
I'm sure there must be some setting I need to, er... set.
TIA

hum... not sure. this is odd, and should not be the case. Please provide more details:Mushy Mushy wrote:Why am I finding the CPU usage between Aether and Breeze the opposite of what I should expect?

Does this happen when you create a new project, add a single audio track and insert Breeze onto this single audio track? Or does it only happen in complex sessions?

3) Cubase 4.5
I've only noticed it when applying to on an existing project. I havent yet tried on a new project. It's really quite funny when i'm using Aether and I think "ooh I might reduce CPU and use Breeze instead", then.... it.... goes..... v. e. r. y. s. l. o. w. l. y....

Something seems odd. Can you please try a new project with a single instance on a stereo audio track and let me know how it goes? Breeze should always be lighter on the CPU than Aether...Mushy Mushy wrote:Hi Andrew,Galbanum wrote:hum... not sure. this is odd, and should not be the case. Please provide more details:

Ok brand new project - no difference unfortunately.Galbanum wrote:Something seems odd. Can you please try a new project with a single instance on a stereo audio track and let me know how it goes? Breeze should always be lighter on the CPU than Aether...
Aether runs like a dream, Breeze still slow....
Out of curiosity how do you go about diagnosing the issue now?

Hi Andrew, i have an idea/feature request. Could you add a tempo-sync (note values)for decay/predelay. NI Reflector has that, for example and that would be a really nice and probably simple addition. What do you think?

An install question- I thought when Breeze was launched back in Dec there was mention of it interacting with Aether (or its presets?) but I don't see mention of anything like that in the docs. I just wanted to double check before running it. (Aether 1.5.1, all the Exp pacs.
Thanks ahead.

We released an update to Aether at the same time as Breeze that fixes this. We called it the 1.5.1 HotFix update. We did not increment it to a new number (1.5.2, etc) b/c this was really the only difference (well, and a GUI CPU usage bug fix on OSX).mixsit wrote:An install question- I thought when Breeze was launched back in Dec there was mention of it interacting with Aether (or its presets?) but I don't see mention of anything like that in the docs. If you did not download this already from the link we provided, you can re-download the 1.5.1 update form the web store. The file on the server already contains the Hotfix update at this point.
