Hi,similar to MMultibandAutoPan I have a request of a new Static Pan plugin which would allow certain frequencies to be shifted in either L/R or M/S:
- L/R
- Mid/Side
Values for L/R are 0-100:
0 : 100% Left
50 : Center
100 : 100% Right
Values for Mid/Side are 0-100:
0: :100% Mid (signal is mono, dead smack center)
50 :50%Mid, 50%Side (Unchanged, normal stereo)
100 :100% side (which would cause cancellation!)
Examples:
-Mono the lower end 0-300hz only
-Pan Hihats 2-4k to the right, 4-5k hard left
-Bass: move 200-400hz slightly to the side channel (will cause cancellation)
etc...

Damn, you are right!
Ok, so panning for each band can do any MMultiBandxxx plugin. In the band editor you need to click right and select edit panorama instead of band gain.

OK that solves the Left/Right panning. What about M/S shifting?
Lets say a want to shift certain frequencies from a mono-sound to the side (of course this would cause cancellation in a mono-mix, but that could be a wanted effect in the mastering process). This could currently be only achieved with some routing of various plugins. One interface doing this type of thing would be nicer

Well, technically you can set any of them multiband plugins to mono/stereo mode, and then just pan it
.
Sorry to be reluctant, but to be honest this doesn't seem like too interesting idea to me
