greetings Wm. ...
i know you are dealing with many issues at this time , but i would like to request a clarification on the status of LeSax ...
correct me if i mis-state anything , but
my impression is ...
01.] there have been no revisions to the original LeSax soundset since it's release ...
as has been discussed previously , some of the samples contain loop points that cause audible beating during sustained notes ...
02.] the version of LeSax now in circulation is still essentially the "Lite" version , and not the "Pro" version ...
03.] it was the intent of Dash to upgrade
all pre-release purchasers of LeSax from
the "Lite" version , the initial release , to the "Pro" version , upon the completion of the "Pro" version ...
can you please provide an update concerning these issues , and/or any other
issues that concern LeSax ?...
thank-you ...

Hello, thanks for the question. We were about to release more info about TubiLeSax next set of samples.
01.] there have been no revisions to the original LeSax soundset since it's release ...
as has been discussed previously , some of the samples contain loop points that cause audible beating during sustained notes ...
There were new updates, the current version has several loop-points fixed.
02.] the version of LeSax now in circulation is still essentially the "Lite" version , and not the "Pro" version ...
There is no Pro version anymore, we posted detailed information about it here:
http://www.kvr-vst.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=29970
The new Sound-Sets were suposed to be ready a long time ago, but we had a delay from the sample provider. (not us) I will contact the sample guys again to check how soon we can fix this problem and release the extra Sound-Sets, what was called "Pro" version some time ago.
03.] it was the intent of Dash to upgrade
all pre-release purchasers of LeSax from
the "Lite" version , the initial release , to the "Pro" version , upon the completion of the "Pro" version ...
You will still receive the so called before, "Pro" version samples, don't worry.
Best Regards, WilliamK

i'm hoping this is a good thread for this question...
will dash maybe release other soundsets for tubilesax? say, some brass instruments, a clarinet, other basic high school band or jazz ensemble instruments. a trombone would be a blast actually.

i'd rather have a mullet than a comb-over.
fortunately, i have neither.

We do have plans, once we get the new samples from BITR we will be working on projects for new sets.

so what kind of sets will theese be? i just bought LeSax. i must say it realy sounds great, althou i only have tested the demo (but i understand that it's full featured).WilliamK wrote:We do have plans, once we get the new samples from BITR we will be working on projects for new sets.

But i do miss is a set with, if possible, a high velocity layer with a sax blow really hard, if you know what i mean, bursting!
than i just tested the flute. it would be really cool if you could make a set with mouth sounds/tunes in it. maybe with adjustable audiblity on the "key-sound" dragbar? do you under stand what kind of sound i'm after? the kind of harmonical sound that a player can make with his lips blowing into a transvere flute...
And also a set with the flute bursting (even if theDMIflute is quite good at that).
(i like it played harsh, raw and hard)
