Still not clear where your heading to..why should we want to loose a feature? In exchange for what? please elaborate, otherwise its hard to make a decision for me.

It's just a bit of fun. Nothing is actually going to be lost. It's not even the Zebra developer asking the question.

Don't know if it helps any, but I did this preset using 2 fmo's set to 2 different, non-standard fm wave modes.
Added a filter and a shaper, with only internal eq, and compressor, with some mod wheel filter opening up there.
I think it sounds pretty good for using those other fm modes.

I have about 3 other presets that use those different modes, where they sound better than if I used the standard sine mode.

I really couldn't think of anything I'd like to see removed. If I were forced to come up with something, I'd say the 2.3 mode, otherwise I love the flexibility and I'm looking to see what gets added to Zebra!

I'd say lose the FMOs and integrate all of their features into the main oscs (giving us more of those, of course) so that we can use full wavetables and osc fx on all operators!
