Wow, you are out of the loop, aren't you?declan32001 wrote:That's why I'm wondering what's up here. Thrilled about AT3 being 64bit. But I'm using AT 3.02, Peter said "major update" and "several weeks" so you'd think there would be an announcement about what you guys are intending to do here.Brian @ IK Multimedia wrote:We do need to prioritize in a logical and orderly fashion, which is why you will be seeing AmpliTube x64 followed by T-RackS x64. There is a roadmap we have in place for moving forward methodically, and these updates will be doing more than just adding 64-bit support...
AT3 is really great and still very young, so why aren't you guys releasing any info about the 3.5 release? There could be something in there that might convince some people to hold off buying a "rival" product.
Just sayin'.
Which means give me, an owner, info!
We have been talking up AmpliTube 3.5 quite a bit.
I'll tell you a little bit about it now...
We've got a bunch of new strategic partnerships with several top brands in the industry... Orange, Soldano, Jet City Amplification, Seymour Duncan, T-REX... adding to existing partners like Fender, Ampeg, Gallien-Krueger, Groove Tubes, and THD. Several of these brands are going to be involved in the launch of AmpliTube Custom Shop. We're about to revolutionize the way you try and buy gear. Soon you will be able to try and buy AmpliTube models on an à la carte basis. You'll get just the stuff you want, and it's not going to break the bank to add some new gear to your AmpliTube rig.
We've been posting teasers of what's coming here and there. Take a look.
