I'm sorry because this is very likely a basic issue but it seems that, using the inner microsoft drivers(mme audio), mulab doesn't recognise the built-in audio inputs of a PC

I experienced this in both my Laptop running windows 7 and a P4 running windows XP, how can i fix this ?

Thanks in advance...

From the MU.LAB online Tutorial:
Installation

1. Download ASIO4ALL from www.asio4all.com

2. Execute the downloaded installer and set it up properly

3. Go to MU.LAB -> Edit Menu -> Audio Setup

4. Select the ASIO4ALL driver and click OK to close MU.LAB's Audio Setup dialog

5. Now when you click Play in MU.LAB, the music should start playing

Troubleshooting

If you followed the instructions above and when you click Play MU.LAB's position line starts moving but you don't hear any sound, then:

* Go to MU.LAB -> Edit Menu -> Audio Setup and click "Control Panel". This will open the ASIO4ALL control panel. Check if you have selected the right outputs there.
* If that's ok, check the FAQ on www.asio4all.com
* If that's ok, then open the Windows audio mixer and check whether nothing is accidentally muted.
* If that's ok, then check whether you have plugged your speakers/headphone in the proper audio jack(s).
* If that's ok, check whether your speakers are turned on.
* If that's ok, check whether the audio cables are ok.
And here is another little tutoral for audio setup in MU.LAB :)
