I finally found this irresistable myself, on Saturday night. Got one coming from FrontEnd Audio. No confirmed shipping yet.
...Uh, you are buying the $49 + shipping deal, right?

Honestly, if I was you, I'd sell them all individually, then use the money to buy Komplete 7. Right now, you can likely find it for $450 or less.S-N-S wrote: i own massive,absynth.fm8,reaktor 5 and kontakt 4,would it make sense to buy the komplete 7 elements??
And it'll be interesting to see how much GC/MF is selling the K7/Elements bundle for, as BERFAB posted. Heck, you might even make money on the deal (assuming that you can indeed sell them all for a semi-sane price).
I'd start the ball rolling by buying Kontakt 4 from you for a hundred bucks...

Incidentally, the absolute most that the GC/MF bundle deal can be is $500, because you can get them for that price or better now separately. If nobody calls to find out before tomorrow, I will.
If they're serious about it, the bundle should be $25 - $50 less, perhaps after some haggling over the phone.
Therefore, S-N-S, if you can average $100 on what you've got to sell now, you're past break-even. Anything over about $85 average for each item, and you should be able to get that easily, though not necessarily instantaneously, and you end up with much more software than you would otherwise, for about what you'd spend just buying Elements now.

Huh. Actually, S-N-S, the sweet spot for you is to keep either Reaktor or Kontakt (Probably Reaktor, as you can likely sell Kontakt for more), then sell the other four items and do the Komplete LTO upgrade deal. That's going for a posted $299 everywhere. You can probably easily haggle 10% off of that, especially if you roll in a purchase of Elements at the same time.
That puts you at needing to make $315 - $350 for the other four items. Should be really easy. Probably can turn a profit.
Sorry, my dealhound brain keeps ticking over....

Anyone know where I can find the best price on Komplete 7 upgrade from Komplete 5? Think NI will do another 50% off summer sale?

Usually the %50 sale doesnt cover komplete stuff. Or at least thats what happened last winter. Im on v6, and would also like to know. Elements seems a cool upgrade for it (esp with the $60 voucher) BUT, €83 (incl shipping) is too much right now. Need to find somebody going easy on the shipping.

FWIW - I just got off the phone with an MF sales-guy, and they don't show any special pricing on K7 or Elements, which are still at $499 and $99 respectively.
I also just got an email from FrontEnd Audio, where I'd ordered Elements, telling me that they don't have any boxes in, and expect NI to start shipping them at the end of March.
...Even though they'd shown them as being in stock...
Not really impressed here, though I'm sure they'd make it right in the end. I think I'll probably go ahead and cancel, just to make sure that I don't get too far toward the end of the PayPal dispute period.
I think that the deal will still be good, but that they just got a little too eager to try to corral some early sales on it.
All in all, a rather disappointing day. I surmise that this stuff, including other possible NI promos, will kick in gear for real at the end of the month or early next month. Grrr.

Yep. It's all about the extra content....VitaminD wrote:Are the Komplete 7 element players the same Komplete 7 players they released for free?
EDIT: And I canceled my order with FrontEnd. Just too far in the future. And, honestly, I vastly approve of aggressive vendors, but not when they take my money for a product that they don't have in stock and won't be able to get to me for almost a month, even if nothing hangs in the process... Guess we'll see how quick they are to get it back to me.

Lol. I'm a much better shopper than I am a producer.GreyLion wrote:Huh. I then ordered from here:
http://www.pssl.com/!hOEqWWK!JgMyy0TikZ ... cts-Pack-s
It states it is available sooner.
I told myself they will probably not ship it until the end of the month like everyone else, but I WANT to believe.

Yeah, I have a suspicion that these guys knew it was coming, and so did a lot of other vendors, but these ones chose to try to get a jump on it, and now they're having to deal with cancellations.
I'd bet that NI is shipping out at the end of the month to everybody pretty much simultaneously, assuming no other unknowns.
Like I said upthread, it'll be interesting to see if there are any other promos coming then. Like Komplete 7 dropping to $200...

From Hybernation in the Bargains thread, in reference to the new AudioMidi Sonivox Soundstage $15 No-Brainer:
I bought this tonight. Very disappointed. I emailed support. I have a new iMac i7. AU doesn't validate (crashes the au validator). VST crashes REAPER and Cubase 5.5. RTAS crashes Pro Tools.
Thank God it came with an uninstaller!
File under "you get what you pay for"
I can't seem to find much in the way of reviews, but there's this KVR thread from 2009:
http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=3615025
Looks like others had bad stability problems, too.
Anybody else here got any experience with this thing?

I have installed the demo version of Sonivox Soundstage ... and it DOES install the PACE drivers
So I immediately uninstalled it. There is a chance that the PACE drivers are causing havoc on some systems.
