midipads question(s)

i made a layout with midipads-editor version
i want a midipad1prog with that opens with this layout, how can i do?

is it possible to configure pads to send data over different midi channels?

the new version is supposed to load fast enough that a single-program version isn't necessary. if that isn't the case, it would be easy for me to compile the 1-program version again.

the channel is still a global setting but i plan to change that...
