Hello,
I just bought MDrummer, really like that plug, very powerfull envelope ('')
I had fun for few hours now with it, it's a great tool for drum stacking, and I have a lot more to discover tomorrow : )
Just a little question, I'm on Mac with Cubase 6 and when I browse for the custom sample path, I get only the main Hard Drive, I have my samples on a second Hard Drive but I can't find it (second Hard Drive) in the browser.
I'm not sure if I'm on the good topic.....
Really really good stuff, thanks (':tu:')

Oh please could we have a function where you "play" a beat via MIDI in and have it loop (like a clip in Ableton Live) and then use it to to seed the beat with no break in rhythm. Maybe have it start with a little metronome you could turn off.MeldaProduction wrote:tman2k (Meathook Audio) wrote:Heyyyy, hold on there a minute! Did you think you could get away with throwing something like "MDrummer 4" out there without giving us more details???MeldaProduction wrote:Aaaaha. There is none right now, though the forthcoming MDrummer 4 should have quite a few new ones.

So, what kinds of things can we expect from this?I was hoping
. I'm afraid no more details
. Except heavily reorganized GUI and lots lots of new stuff... Hehe

Hi, well, the secondary hard-drive should be somewhere in the tree. I'll check when possible, I'm not sure at the moment.tuneone wrote:Hello,

But every loop editor has "record" function, is that exactly what you want?zerocrossing wrote: Oh please could we have a function where you "play" a beat via MIDI in and have it loop (like a clip in Ableton Live) and then use it to to seed the beat with no break in rhythm. When you do that in rhythm generator, then that's all you need I believe.

Maybe... but the key is having it be seamless. Maybe I should explain how I'm currently doing it. First I record a sequence in Live. Then I right click and "export midi" for that clip. Then, I import that midi file into mDrummer and use it as a seed for the basis of a whole song. This way, there's a whole lot of silence between the moment I create the beat and having the beat start back up via mDrummer.MeldaProduction wrote:But every loop editor has "record" function, is that exactly what you want?zerocrossing wrote: Oh please could we have a function where you "play" a beat via MIDI in and have it loop (like a clip in Ableton Live) and then use it to to seed the beat with no break in rhythm. Here's what I think would be super cool, and help differentiate you from all other drum loop tools. Hit "Play" in your DAW, starting the clock. Maybe have a premade loop going or use the metronome for timing. Then, in mDrummer, start "playing" a sequence using midi in, similar to how you'd do it in a DAW, like in Live's clips. You could keep the input quantized to what ever settings you want, with or without swing. You could edit the beat as it played. Then, when you get it like you want it, hit the process button and without stopping at all, have all the parts compose in the background and then "take over."
Think about how cool an improvisation tool this could be. You'd be able to create an entire performance from nothing with no gap.

But that's exactly what "record" button does, doesn't it? I wasn't talking about MIDI clips and stuff like that.

I'm not sure if it is exactly the same thing (this app looks like just the few pads), but it will be in MDrummer 4Simon Posford wrote:Hi,
