Currently I have Komplete 5 on my Receptor.
Is It Possible to to uninstall massive, Knotakt, Battery and Reakter and install them on My PC which is more capable of running them? I guess the question is really, how/or would NI work with me in registering or activaing those instruments on my PC?
A minor scale is a major scale starting 3 half steps down from the major and visa versa. Any Chord has as many versions as it has notes.

NI allows multiple , simultaneous registrations ...
most likely two , for komplete 5 ...

details are available , from the NI site , and/or user forum ...

Hi Throbert,

I'm not sure which Receptor's this applies to, but I know on my Receptor 2, I've been able to run ServiceCenter directly on the Receptor (ie. authorizing/updating directly on Receptor, instead of using NI's proxy requests with another computer).

So (I think), you should be able to clean up your HD to remove auths on Receptor. I'm not sure how critical this is, and how much NI checks this. But I believe 'normal' is correct about NI allowing multiple installs (I think 3 for Komplete and istruments, 2 for libs).

Hope this helps,
Kevin L

Native Instruments allows owners of Komplete to have three activations of the product, assuming the activations on multiple computers are not running at the same time.

The idea is to allow someone to have the product installed on a studio computer, and then perhaps on a mobile laptop.

You should have no problem installing Komplete on a PC, then using the most current version of NI Service Center to activate it.

You don't need to uninstall Komplete from your Receptor at all, since you have three activations.

NI used to have a process by which you could de-activate installations, but they removed it. They now just monitor for activation abuses (e.g. if you activated Komplete 10 times).

Finally, owning any version of Komplete allows you to buy the Komplete 7 update for a reduced price. For example if you are in the U.S. you could "Update" to Komplete 7 for $199:
http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Komp7Up/

Kontakt 4 (in Komplete 7) is more stable and better featured than Kontakt 3 (which is in Komplete 5).

If you buy Komplete 7, you don't even need to pre-install Komplete 5 on your PC. NI product activations are based on what products are registered on your NI User account (in their user account database) rather than what is installed on your computer. You could keep Komplete 5 on your Receptor, and only install the Komplete 7 Update (which is really a full version of the product) on your PC.
