Hi there,

It's always nice to see some changes. Here are my comments about the new site, I hope you don't mind constructive criticism :-)
  • I love the main part (the #content div to be precise), looks great
  • I actually do NOT love the rest of the layout :-)
  • The navigation to the left looks "blocky" and somehow 1990's. I see what was intended with the color scheme, but it does not work for me. It's a weird mixture of colors that don't fit to the color scheme in the main part of the page. But it's not only the colors. It's just... ugly :D
  • The selected menu item features a black font on a dark background - not well readable.
  • Please do NOT use background-images with fixed attachment, it makes scrolling jerky on many browsers/systems because they can't cache the rendered parts.
  • Consider making the pages vertically smaller. E.g. in the plugin-list (http://www.meldaproduction.com/plugins/), is it really necessary to have the full description of each item? Maybe a grid layout with a slightly larger image of the product, its name and a small punchline (e.g. MRhythmizer - filter, volume and time manipulation FX) would be better. See http://www.toneboosters.com/products/ Being concise on overview pages will probably attract more interest. Too much text just distracts.
  • On the product page, when I click on the plugin image, a new tab opens with the full view of the image. Consider unsing some lightbox effect (full image popup) - it's a much smoother experience.
I'm by no means a web designer (although my job as a web application developer sometimes forces me to be), but I hope that my input is somewhat helpful. It's not meant to offend you.

After all, your plugins are awesome however your web site looks :-)

You're using jQuery with this page, right?

Because the EeePC 900 I'm using for webbrowsing is hella slow on heavy jQuery and CSS3 enhanced pages. Else, nice look. Dunno if I prefer the old orange over the new blue though.

Much nicer imo and over all easier to look at :)

Work good the up keep! 8)

It does look somehow "tighter" but a bit too many different "styles" and colors within one page for my taste. Could be somehow more "minimalistic" clean...but hey, it's vojtechs company and site and his choice. Once developers like him are very communicative (i.e. on forums like KVR), too many people try and tell him what to do (am I including myself right now lol?)

Nice new look but not unified style & colors.
Browsing is quite slow (as it was with old site IIRC).

Thank you folks for your comments! I agree that it's maybe too "colorful", but well, let's see if we can get used to it. I kind of like it, because the colors identify where you are browsing at the moment.

Thank you Andre, don't worry, my motto is "there is no improvement without criticism" ;). I'll probably have to forward it to the designer, because frankly I don't understand a thing or 2 :D.

ok, cool, but now its time for new plug-in updates. :P

The only thing that seems really out of place to me is that the main nav menu uses yellow text instead of their parent heading colour, i.e. blue, yellow and orange.

The rest of it makes the theme less.... red than before. :)

Lots of style talk. What about the content? Appreciate the tutorial section, it signals sort of a caring touch for users. Another helpful detail is the list of changes. Some of us look for this information when trying a new toy. Sometimes it can tell you a lot about the development path and direction.

Actually, I love the site perfectly as is.
