I don't know if this has come up before, but I had "Zebra 2.5 Registered To..." revert to "Zebra 2.5 Demo Mode". Luckily I had another copy of 2.3 on my computer to use to upgrade with the 2.5 installer, and now everything is once again as it should be. Any idea why this might have happened, and if it happens again, what to do about it?

Hi Greg,

Just send a support email to anybody at u-he dot com. It's likely your serial key is a false positive and activating the new copy protection scheme in 2.5.

I'm thinking it is one those overly protective new OS at play. Running W7 perhaps ? Right-click Run as administrator on your DAW and see if that works.

I think it might be a permissions problem. The structure of support directories has changed with Z2.5, here's a fix:

As these are frequently recurring issues, I've planned to make Zebra more failproof shortly, and add more helpful messages to guide you through these little hiccups...
