Wow, I had no idea had the power to get more people to join in the contest! As of now I have 38 presets from the following people:
3ee(2), Ben Juodvalkis(1), blurk(2), Broccalock(1), Convulsion(2), ezelkow1(2), gorecki(2), HiEnergy(1), Joakim Forslund(2), jobromedia(2), justin3am(2), jupiter8(2), LeVzi(2), loimi(2), marcusz(2), R.A.W.(2), sin night(1), thefeet(2), themachine(2), The Unshushable Coktor(2+update), Todd Silva(1), vurt(1)
If you don't see your name or think the patch count is incorrect please send me a PM.
And for everyone else, there's still just over 12h and 30m to get presets in! This is shaping up to be the biggest contest we've had so far, so a big thanks to everyone participating!

Seeing as there's likely to be 40+ patches this time around, how would people feel about voting for their 5 favourite patches rather than 3, as we usually do?
I like 5 votes - it gives a 'richer' result, and it should also mean that fewer patches will score nul points.
OTOH, some people might find it more of a chore (surely not?!) to pick 5, and it might confuse the regulars who are used to the 3 vote system.
To confuse matters further, we could even try a system whereby each voter is allocated 10 points to dish out as they see fit...
I'm happy going with whatever most people prefer.

+1 for the 5 votes when extra patches
-1 for 10 point system (because the 5 votes should be just fine)
Should be 8 AM in the US
... gonna have the patches any time now!

Yeah, I prefer the 5 votes, but I'll leave the final decision up to Brian.
If anyone else has a preference it might be an idea to say so before the voting thread goes up.

imo the 10 point system would be overkill, i'd prefer the 3 or 5 votes (i don't mind how many votes).
anyway, good luck to everyone.. looking forward to hear what else can be done.
