You can take a look at the last contest's thread to get an idea of how these usually progress.

If there is chatting in this thread then please for my sanity mark your votes in a VERY CLEAR manner so I don't accidentally miss them.

Wow, there are some really fantastic patches here! I have a good idea of my favorites but want to wait till I get home from work, so I can have a better listen.

Everyone, make sure to play with aftertouch on the patches that use it (the best way to tell is by looking at the AT output on the left side), it really makes some of these patches crazy expressive.

Post

That was tough, my final list had about 15 absolutely great patches.
But I had to choose, so I picked those that I might use more often than the others.
Here are my votes:

1. Far East Fields Before The Storm
2. Circuit Touch
3. Gravity (use MW)
4. Polygonal
5. Bazille Patch 1

Are we allowed to name the great ones that didn't quite make it? Or is that mean?
Anyway, great great work everyone!

Post

My Votes (best first):
1. Far East Fields before the Storm (I really like what velocity does)
2. Circuit Touch (What's not to like?)
3. Pump It Up! (This one is fun to play)

Post

Allright then! Votes!!

#5 - Gravity (use MW)
Reason: Simple sound, beautiful with it's filter sweaps. Fits most styles of music, but lacks in definition.

#4 - Stardust
Reason: It is a bright lovely sound that can do some wonderful things in any pop track. Perfect both for chords and for melodies.

#3 - Baby Robots Try To Sing
Reason: It is a very cute sound with really special sounds in it. It has a potential to fit in most pop music to give it edge. It has that extra that can lift any synth or chip track to the skies.

#2 - Seq - Robots Attack 1
Reason: A very mechanical sound with a lot of strength and brutality in it, this suits hardstyle and techno pretty well. Still it is very warm and gentle. That suits trance, pop and hiphop very well. It is a cpu hog though which puts it down a bit, but not by much!

And now for the number one contender:

#1 - KasioBeat (Play C3)
Reason: This is a very deep and funky groove that really shows off the potential use of Bazille. It got me really going nuts in my home studio. Perfect for techno and electro music. And most of all: It has a moving evolving quality that I really love.

Congrats to you all, give yourself a big applause because that have you earned!

Oh and here is the track I promised you all:

Of course! :)

1) Robots Attack - good sounding sequence, mw adds nice grittiness
2) polygonal - good overall sound and use of MW
3) circuit touch - Nice randomness and circuit sounds
4) Baby robots try to sing - Just thought it was an interesting sound, however could get a bit loud
5) bas_unimog - Thought it was just a nice sounding bass synth patch in general

Post

I've compiled my list of 3, I cannot judge things like this, they are all excellent patches.

1 - Bleepypad2
2 - Polygonal
3 - Stardust

I couldn't work out how half the stuff worked lol and I own ACE :|

Bazille holds so much potential tbh, i'm gonna need big pictures and diagrams with pointy arrows stating "PUT THAT CABLE THERE" to get the most from it. :)
Don't trust those with words of weakness, they are the most aggressive

Here are my votes:

1. bleepypad2 - Love the ambient mellow feeling.
2. Far East Fields before the Storm - Another cool mellow preset.
3. rymora III MW - An interesting preset with a nice vibe to it.
4. Pump it up! - Never seen so many colorful cables. Impressive to look at and fun to play.

Great stuff overall.

1. Circuit Touch (Just stellar attention to detail. I'm happy to lose in a contest with such quality submissions.)
2. Baby Robots TryingTo Sing (This really opens up when you expand the pitch bend range to 24 for up and down. A very creative patch.)
3. RymoraIII (I'm really a sucker for these kinds of rhythmic patches. Great low pass gate sounding filter.)
4. Unimoog (Such a fantastically dirty bass. Love the modwheel action.)
5. Far East Fields Before the Storm (Another wonderfully detained patch. I love how unstable it sounds.)

Honorable mentions to Polygonal and Bleepy Pad2. There were a ton of great patches here. I'm totally humbled. :)
