You normally need two oscillators to get that cool distorted harmonic effect with duophonic mode, but with Oddity you can get that sound also with one osc and ring mod. Can Zebra also do this? I know that's vague but hopefully you know what I mean.

The RingMod on Oddity is still using VCO2 as the Modulator, no?Echoes in the Attic wrote:but with Oddity you can get that sound also with one osc and ring mod.

I can't remember Oddity very well, but the ARP Odyssey certainly needed two oscillators to do that. In Zebra, you can either put one oscillator in polyphonic mode, or two oscillators in duophonic mode (separate lanes/outputs) through Ring3.Echoes in the Attic wrote:You normally need two oscillators to get that cool distorted harmonic effect with duophonic mode, but with Oddity you can get that sound also with one osc and ring mod.
