Wow, trying to decide on just five patches has been really tough. My initial list of great patches was pretty long.

1.Circuit Touch - such wonderful controlled chaos
2.Seq - Robots Attack 1 - fun, driving, and rhythmic
3.rymora III MW - understated but mesmerizing
4.Far East Fields before the Storm - such lovely atmospheric layers
5.Play Two Notes - seemingly simple but great sound and oh so fun to play

Really inspiring stuff all around. Thanks to all the entrants.

Ohh, I was 100% sure that the "Circuit Touch" patch would come from you :hihi:
Me too :-o
Nope, he's not voting for himself. ;)

I'm just as surprised as you guys. The two patches I submitted are not typical of what you'd hear from me. I decided to step out of my comfort zone for this one. Obviously, that was a mistake. :hihi:

Here's a tip:

I notice that about half of the patches used the default oscilloscope Freq and Scale settings. Adjusting these to appropriate levels, so that the waves fill the Y axis and render interesting, squiggly shapes and stuff, actually makes a patch sound better! Obviously, it doesn't change the sound, but it does sound better, somehow...

^ ... it makes the "feel" better!? :P
Yes, it does! :)

Congrats to everyone for coming up with such unique patches.

1. Gravity (use MW) - Perfect name for this one. I love the uneasy sense of acceleration you get with the mod wheel.

2. analog drone 1 - I've got a special place in my heart for noisier, atonal sounds like this.

3. rymora III MW - Nice little sequence. Sounds extra badass to me when you switch it to poly and start adding more notes (off-set by a short amount of time).

4. Far East Fields before the Storm - Really interesting choice to set up MW & AT to shift the emphasis between two very different but complimentary sounds.

5. Minor 7th Pad + Fake Arp - Seriously thick blanket of saw waves. (Again, switch to poly mode and it sounds even bigger played on octaves, fifts, etc.)

I really enjoyed playing with that preset but lenghtening the release on ADSR1 and ADSR2 + a little glide. It gave it a seriously retro vibe. :)
