Hi,

Your product looks amazing  .. just a shame I can't make it work!

Do you have a simple step by step guide for Logic Pro 9 showing how to record automation data that can be used as a volume or vocal rider?

I seem to be somewhat stuck and can't find a simple help video on YouTube.

Regards,

Graham

Hi,

thank you for posting in our forum. We have a step by step tutorial for Logic Pro here that explains how to connect plug-ins for real time side chaining:
http://www.bluecataudio.com/Tutorials/T ... _LogicPro/

It is also possible to record automation curves if you prefer, instead of using the environment to connect parameters, but if you do so you won't get the real time preview.

Hope this helps. Feel free to contact us if you are still stuck.

Hi, thank you for your reply.

I will have another look and see what I can discover.

I can see the potential of your plug-ins but I'm not sure I have enough spare time for the learning curve required. I may well end up buying Waves VocalRider just to get my current work complete.

It's just a thought but surely you will sell far more plug- ins if you made them simpler with a single function.

Anyway, I will have another look and see if I can get some useable results.

Kind regards,

Graham

Unfortunately, I'm not getting anywhere fast. :help:

I can record data and then turn it into volume data but its not useable - my fader is flying up and down far to fast which causes glitches in the audio.

That's a first step!

Now that you can record data, you just need to tweak the attack and release time of the Digtal Peak Meter Pro plug-in. If you are using the stock settings I guess the attack time is 0 ms. You should increase it to get a slower response.

Thanks for your encouragement.

I've had another go but got no further. The results are unusable however I tweak the settings.

I don't have enough spare time to waste on this any further - so I'm afraid its no sale.
