Yep. It's all about the extra content....

EDIT: And I canceled my order with FrontEnd. Just too far in the future. And, honestly, I vastly approve of aggressive vendors, but not when they take my money for a product that they don't have in stock and won't be able to get to me for almost a month, even if nothing hangs in the process... Guess we'll see how quick they are to get it back to me.
I just did the same thing.

I then ordered from here:

http://www.pssl.com/!hOEqWWK!JgMyy0TikZ ... cts-Pack-s

It states it is available sooner.

I told myself they will probably not ship it until the end of the month like everyone else, but I WANT to believe.

Yeah it was BS.

It's not shipping until the end of the month.

I just saw Samplemoog was on sale recently for 1 day only at $49, but I missed it :(

Maybe in the summer it will be in a sale or group-buy again

Maybe?. :hihi:

Don't worry, IK's prices are deffinitively affected by the Law of Gravity.

If there's one thing for certain in life it's that you can almost always get IK or EastWest products on sale (or GB in IK's case). It's a tad foolish to ever buy one at the normal price. :hihi:

Yeah... kind of like the Wusik-station software.. I always see it on group buy.. it seems to be on group buy more than it is not. :)

Life is a group buy.

Did anybody receive their Miroslav Classik edition from audiomidi? I paid it a week ago already, and now I just got an email without any explanation, that the order is cancelled? WTF? Well I hope they have at least the sense to explain this to me...

Post

I bought Miroslav CE last night and received my serial# in just a few minutes. I think probably you shouldn't have waited a week before contacting them, but hopefully they can work it out for you...

From the other thread:

I get the impression they'd ship to the US, but the cost would probably be noticeable.

EDIT: I just ran it part of the way through, and it looks like shipping to the US is only $7, and they ship to lots of places worldwide.
It's April, weren't we all thinking this would be rolling by now? Was it an April fool?

Well.... I think there's a story behind this that hasn't quite unfolded yet.

From another thread here -- sorry don't remember exactly who posted it -- it looks like NI is about to start selling a cut-down version of Elements with only 3 GB of samples, a lot fewer add-on packs, and only a $30 coupon enclosed. That's probably what's shipping now to these vendors that jumped the gun on pricing.

However -- I just now pulled the trigger on the deal at Juno, because it looks like there is a reasonable possibility that they're clearancing the older boxes.

Their site forcefully insists that they have the original versions in stock right now. Total price for me, shipped to the US, was a bit over $63.

I'm not sure I'd recommend the deal to everyone else, but, especially if you're in Great Britain, it could be sweet. Slight roll of the dice with no real downside to it that I can see, since I can always dispute the PayPal transaction if needed.

Guess I'll know within the next week or so... :)

Post

Oh, I never caught that it was a cut down version! Thanks for clarifying... Let us know how the overseas deal turns out for you. 8)

Yeah, none of the early-selling vendors advertised that it was cut-down, either. I think they probably didn't know. This may end up with NI having been too clever by half... Not sure what the attraction might be for this new version, myself...

GREAT vocal plugin for serious debreathing or special fx.
Damn! And IR-L and MB1 on sale extra cheap. Thanks, Theo!

FWIW -- I think that Doubler, which is in the MB is a genuine desert-island plug. It alone is easily worth the $49. :)
